Before we started working with this brand, they had hired a different email marketing agency to help them transition from their old system to Klaviyo. That was when their problems first started. Once set up in Klaviyo, the brand’s email open rate plummeted. Even with their original, limited-capability email platform, open rates tended to be above 40%, but now open rates were consistently less than 20% (oftentimes closer to 10%). → Redesigned all email campaigns and followed all email design best practices.
→ Removed all potential spam flags from subject lines and content.
→ Implemented a segmentation strategy to re-warm the account and ensure deliverability improved.
→ Created email automations for welcome, browse abandoned, abandoned cart, and post purchase flows with on-brand copy and design.
→ We set up Klaviyo Reviews and a review request flow to gain valuable customer feedback and testimonials.
The results
After we completed the automation and deliverability clean-up project, we transitioned into campaign management. We’ve been working with Golden Mae for over a year and have seen incredible results.
→ Open rates are now consistently at a healthy 57%, and click rates are at 3.7%!
→ Klaviyo revenue accounts for 33% of total business revenue.
→ Email flow AOV has increased 25% in one year of working together, and revenue per recipient has gone up by 200%.
